With the development of economy and technology,there are more and more cars running on the road.However,will this trend continue in the future,or,in other words,will the number of cars be increase?Though different people have different ideas towards this topic,from my perspective,there will surely be more cars in twenty years.
First of all,considering the rapid development of economy,the developping countries like China an India will become much richer and thus the people in these countries will then enjoy the convenience of having cars.What's moe,the great population of these countries will also give rise to the booming of car industry,and finally resulting in more cars.Take China for example,there are only one tenth of Chinese family now owns cars,according to a survey conducted recently,and that demonstrates a huge market.As many economist predict,Chinese will be much richer in 20 years ,and then,they may just purchase something that seems too expensive,such as cars.
Besides,the new technology in producing cars will also make the cars much cheaper.The price of the cars has been decreasing during the few years because new materials is used to replace metal,which is very expensive.And the electronic devices will also be much cheaper and this will also contribute to the cars'price going down.And lower price means a greater market for cars.Along with the price going down,the efficience of cars burning fuel will also rise.It is reported that the scientists are now putting efforts to refine a specific engine so that it will take less petrolium and will be much more environmental friendly.Besides,as is universally recognized,the cars nowadays are producing less gas because of appliance of new technology.These changes will definitely make the cars much more popular not only in developping countries but also in developped countries.And therefor,the numbers of cars will certainly rise.
Last but not least,as far as I'm concerned ,in 20 years,cars can still be the most convenient vehicles.Bicylces and motorcycles will be less popular because they are too slow and considering there will be more and more highways in the cities,these two vehicles will disappear at last.While trains and ships can't take people to the destination which is not far from them,they will not take the place of cars.And plains,as many suggest,will still be too expensive to afford to the ordinary people.So the dominating status of cars will not be challenged,and it may even be strengthened for the reasons that I talk above.
More cars running on the road may bring people great convenience an promote the car industries,along with metal industries and energy industries,develop even more fast and stimulate the economy.
