Ph.D. Openings on Robotic Vision

TheIntelligent Autonomous Systems Lab (http://ualr.edu/cxye/laboratory.htm) of theUniversity of Arkansas at Little Rock has three Ph.D. student openings forSpring/Fall 2014. The successful candidates will develop computer visionmethods based on a 3D Flash LIDAR for a co-robotic navigation aid for thevisually impaired. The research topics include:
[align="left"]- 6DOF Simultaneous Localization and Mapping[/align][align="left"]- 3DData Segmentation[/align][align="left"]- 3DObject/Scene Recognition[/align][align="left"]- Human-RobotInteraction[/align]Theproject is funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
