关于sop的一些疑问

在西北大学的网站上 有这样的信息
Applicants must submit a statement of purpose. This should include a brief overview of your research experiences (more detail should be placed in your resume or CV) as well as your reason for attending graduate school. Share your passion for what you want to do with respect to your research. Take time to connect yourself with several faculty members and their research.
1）不是在CV里 科研经历是简单描述 而在SOP里面才是具体阐述的嘛。。。
2）对于那些没有页数要求的 sop的字数是否可在1700左右 而对于其有要求的 可以不可通过修改页边距 把三页的内容塞在两页了 虽然有点挤
3) 扫描的成绩单 我只扫描了英文原件 中文原件是否必要 同时 要不要在其后加上 在读证明的文件
4）一般来说applyweb 和applyyourself两个系统 只要两个账号 就登陆其相关的学校 是不是duke的applyyourself账号和其他隶属这个系统的学校不同啊。。。还是我不小心又重新申请了一个
5） 在sop里提到 某某prof鼓励我申请的话 会不会降低其他老师要自己的可能。。。。
本人申请phd....问题有点多 THX
