[Spring'22 and Fall'22] PhD Student Position in Data Science, Machine Learning and Cyber-Physical Systems (IoT)
Recruitment: Multiple funded Ph.D. student positions (Spring’22 and Fall’22) are available at Lehigh University working on research projects about Human-Cyber-Physical Systems and Data Science in the context of smart cities. Experience in Data Science, Machine Learning and Internet of Things/Mobile Computing is preferred.
Preferred qualifications:
Candidates with ANY of the following qualifications would be particularly encouraged to apply.
; Research experience in spatial-temporal data mining, intelligent transporation systems, large-scale data processing, Internet of Things (IoT)
; Knowledge or interest in using applied data science and machine learning for human behavior modeling
; Solid skills in programming (e.g., Python, Java)
Bio: Yu Yang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Lehigh University. His research interest is in bridging Cyber-Physical Systems, Data Science, and Machine Learning from an interdisciplinary perspective considering humans in the scope. His work has been published in the top computer science conferences and journals such as MobiCom, UbiComp, SIGCOMM, NSDI, SIGKDD, TMC, and TON.
