第一次申请美签，惨痛遭拒，分享过程，请大家批评指正，有坑避坑，有意见提意见
约了早上7:30，白人男，窗口大约在30附近（记不太清了），高个子，络腮胡（不长），整个人给人的感觉是做事情比较慢，面签过程中全程都在操作电脑，整体问答如下：
先要了护照和DS2019表
a. where are you going to? (Unviersity of California, Berkeley)
b. what are you going to do in America (I am going to study in Berkeley as a visiting PhD student for one year. My major is environmental science in China. In Berkeley, my major is xxx (在STEM list 里面，但不属于军工，化学，材料，航天等高端技术行业，就是基础研究，研究土壤-植被 水分状态和其中的水分运动))
c. are you going to get a degree? (No, I am now a fifth-year phD candidate in China and I need to come back to China after this program)
d. who is your advisor (Prof. xxx and I gave him the CV)
e. are you supported by CSC (yes; DS2019表上写的很明确)
e. what's your plan after the program (I'll come back to China and finish my phD dissertation and after graudation, I want to be hired as a postdoc to continue my research in a college)
中间稍微等了几秒钟 我问他要不要看下我的研究计划和publication，他说不是necessary material，拒绝看，又过了几秒钟，然后就给我了白单子，直接拒了 （理由是other 212（f））。
个人感觉中间做的不足的地方有两点：
1. 没有详细介绍自己的研究方向，没有突出这个研究的人畜无害性；
2. 回国以后的计划是不有些过于简单而显得约束力比较弱？
面签之前还打算全程微笑，结果全程戴口罩，而且面签过程中VO也没有对视，就非常尴尬，有机会的话还是感觉要主动，要主动说服他。
最后想请教一下大家，这种情况拒签后，再次申请通过的可能性有多大？材料本身应该没有啥变动了，就想再试一把，交谈过程中更自主一些。
