就是提醒一下大家，不要申请芝加哥的博士后。楼主的一年OPT用完了，现在打算申请 24-months STEM OPT 竟然不支持。小蜜说是因为
Unfortunately, UChicago cannot employ those on F-1 STEM OPT as we are not fully enrolled in E-Verify and don’t E-Verify all hires as the F-1 regulations require. This has been the case since May of 2016. Once a foreign national exhausts their 12 months of F-1 OPT, then they need to be transitioned to and sponsored for an H-1B, J-1, TN or E-3 depending on their home country and job. You should not fill out the Form I-983 for them to apply for STEM OPT.
