在加拿大给same team 远程工作会影响之后申请L1吗

伴随着公司新的work remote policy, 楼主不换组但work remotely from canada的request得到了批准，也开始着手办理canada的work permit。本来想着这样一年后办L1回美国最方便，但今天公司的律师跟我讲说这样子有可能L1会被拒，理由是: “because you were able to perform the role from outside the US. The US immigration officer may determine that you don’t qualify for L-1 because you can perform the role from outside the US just as you have for the past year. ”
看了地里，好像其他大厂(微软，亚麻）对抽不中h1b的措施都是：人到温哥华但不换组，想问下有类似这种换国家不换组经验的同学，后来办L1的时候遇到困难了吗？谢谢！
