被NCSU拒了，伤心中~

申了一堆学校，没想到第一个出的结果是rej，伤心。。。也没有邮件通知，我是前几天无聊去系统里查的，发现出结果了，点进去一看是一封拒信。然后我就argu了一下，结果人家回复了下面的内容，看来我个大水人还是实力不够啊

The number of applications our department received this year exceeded 2,000. We are grateful our programs and facilities are attractive to so many individuals seeking advanced degrees. However, as a consequence, admission is quite competitive, and many otherwise qualified candidates must be turned away. Therefore, denial of admission need not be construed as a reflection on an applicant's academic credentials, but rather is indicative of the highly competitive quality of our applicant pool.
With so many applicants, please understand and respect that the department cannot provide details about a particular decision, nor does it reconsider admission denials or re-evaluate an applicant for another of its degree programs.
