What We are Looking for?
Two Graduate Research Assistantship (GRA) positions at PhD level are available at the Department of Forest, Rangeland and Fire Sciences, College of Natural Resources, University of Idaho
Successful candidates will be involved in a prestigious federally funded project that aims to improve and predict the durability and fire resistance of wood and 3D printed biocomposites. This is a highly interdisciplinary research project and successful candidates at the PhD level are expected to hold a Master’s degree related to the proposed topics of the study, preferably in wood science/products, agricultural/biological engineering, chemical engineering, materials science & engineering, chemistry, or closely related disciplines. The target starting date is in the Spring semester 2022 or Fall 2022.
What We Will Provide?
We will competitive support funding, which will include graduate student’s stipend, tuition, and health insurance.
For International Students
For applicants who attended school outside of the U.S., an English language proficiency test is required (TOEFL iBT is 79 and IELTS is 6.5). GRE score is NOT required. For more information related to international student hiring, see website uidaho.edu
