Dr. Ying Wang's group is looking for Ph.D. students starting Spring 2022 or Fall 2022 at the School of Systems and Enterprises at Stevens Institute of Technology. The research areas include but are not limited to:
Machine Learning-based data-driven 5G and nextG cross-layer research
Interdisciplinary research leveraging secure, high-performance, and resilient wireless technologies to enable intelligent, deployable discoveries and insights at various verticals, including healthcare, CV2X, and UAV.
Cyber-physical systems and cyber security
Telehealth, IoMT, health informatics and content-aware, edge-centered medical decision support system

Desirable Ph.D. or Master applicants with a background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Software Engineering, or other related fields are strongly encouraged to apply. A Master's degree in related fields is preferred. Working with others and hands-on practice is essential as current projects collaborate with other universities, industry partners, and research organizations. Dr. Ying Wang joined the School of Systems and Enterprises (SSE) at Stevens Institute of Technology as an associate professor in Fall 2021. Dr. Ying Wang has broad experience in industry and academia and interdisciplinary knowledge in wireless communications, health informatics, software engineering, and data mining. She was Wireless Design Engineer at Apple and Distinguished Member of Technical Staff (DMTS) at Verizon.
