看到有帖子问PCP的情况,正好lz我也申了,就分享一些自己了解到的信息:

CS Department 关于 PCP 的介绍:

cs.wisc.edu

Division of Continuing Studies 关于PCP的页面:

pdc.wisc.edu

  1. The Professional Capstone Program is a non degree bearing program. You will receive a certificate in them mail once you have completed the program and can use the transcript to provide proof of your academic history. If you apply to the Professional Master's Program, you will be able to apply up to 14 credits of courses level 400 or greater to the master's program. We also have a traditional program, however they do not accept PCP credits. All credits for the traditional program must be earned while enrolled as a master's student.

  2. PCP students are admitted based on providing evidence they have an undergraduate degree from a 4 year program, have an overall GPA of 3.0 or greater and provide a resume along with a transcript. Over 70% of Professional Master's Applicants that were in the Capstone Program were admitted to the masters last year.

  3. PCP students must complete the same application as the regular applicants and are held to the same level as all our other applicants.

  4. We have never had a problem with students obtaining a VISA unless it is due to Covid-19.

  5. PCP students are offered 2 courses a term at Epic Systems which is off Campus about 20 minutes away in Verona, WI. However PCP students are also welcome to take the CS courses on campus.
