Welcome to the Department of Computer Science at University of Pittsburgh.
Dr. Xulong Tang is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science (cs.pitt.edu) at University of Pittsburgh. His research focuses on the fields of
1) optimizing machine learning and deep learning applications on single- and multi- GPU systems
2) building efficient quantum computing simulation Eco-system
3) accelerating VR/AR applications
4) compiler-assisted massive parallel computing
5) heterogeneous computing architectures/systems.
Dr. Tang is actively looking for self-motivated students to join his research lab and has multiple fully funded positions for Fall 2022. Interested students can send him a brief email with their CV and transcripts to start the conversation. Students who wish to join in Fall 2022 please contact him ASAP to meet the university deadlines.
