lz在申请华盛顿西雅图的 data science master，申请文书里有个optional essay，具体要求如下：
Provide additional information that you would like to bring to the attention of the admissions committee. This may include gaps in employment history, academic performance issues, choice of recommenders, socioeconomic disadvantages, or any other relevant information. If you are a reapplicant, explain how your candidacy has strengthened since your last application.
This should not be a personal statement. [lim: 350]
想问一下大家觉得这个文章是想要申请人写什么？我朋友说是要解释一些负面个人信息，但是我一个老师说可以从自身出发写一些社会性的东西？？我现在就很迷茫，所以想问一下地里的大家～同时也欢迎经验交流！！！
