Every year we receive many applications from highly qualified
candidates. We accept only a small fraction of them. Mainly this is due
to resource constraints: our faculty members devote a fair amount of
time to each student and can train only a limited number. We reviewed
your application very carefully and noted several strong features. There
is rigorous competition for entry into our graduate programs and your
application was not among those that we were able to accept.
