PhD student positions in Computer Science, starting from 2023 spring or 2023 fall semesters, are available at University of Massachusetts Boston, under the supervision of Prof. Honggang Zhang. Accepted students will receive full financial support in the form of Research Assistantship全额奖学金 from Prof. Zhang, and they will enroll in the PhD program in Computer Science in the Department of Computer Science at UMass Boston.
Prof. Zhang’s research is in the areas of Deep Learning in Point Clouds & Radar Signals with UAVs and Autonomous Driving, Deep Reinforcement Learning, Internet of Things (IoT), Edge Computing. The PhD students are expected to work in the above areas.
Qualification:
* Applicants usually have a BS or MS degree in any of one of the following fields: AI, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering, Control & Automation, Telecommunication, Computer Networking, or other related fields.
* Students from other science and engineering fields (such as Applied Math, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, etc) are also encouraged to apply.
