Multiple fully-funded Ph.D. positions are available for Spring/Fall-2023 at Dr. Yang Xiao's research group in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Kentucky. Students will have the opportunity to work on security and privacy topics in blockchain and distributed systems, data sharing, next-G mobile networks, among other exciting topics in network and information security. We are particularly interested in developing novel security/privacy/resiliency solutions for emergent network systems under the assumption of zero or limited trust. Students with a solid mathematical, programming, and analytical background are encouraged to apply. Previous research experience is appreciated but optional.
