我申请的MCS, 但UIUC说给我延期到春季入学，九月才会问我要不要春季入学，这个延期录取会有反悔的情况吗？求助一下，谢谢！

The Department of Computer Science has carefully reviewed your application to the Master of Computer Science (MCS) degree at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign for Fall 2023 term. Due to space limitations and a large number of exceptional applicants, we are unfortunately unable to recommend many well-qualified students such as yourself, to be admitted for the program for Fall 2023.
However, the department is pleased to extend you a deferred offer of admissions to the MCS program to start the academic program in Spring 2024 term. You will not be required to submit a new application. In mid-September, 2023, we will communicate with you to inquire if you wish to enroll in the MCS program in Spring 2024. If, at that time, you indicate that you wish to enroll in the MCS program in Spring 2024, the department will issue an updated admissions decision. We hope you will give serious consideration to this option as you make decisions about your graduate studies.
We appreciate your interest in our program and all of your efforts in preparing an application. We look forward to you joining our team in Spring 2024 and working with you to accomplish your educational goals.
