Dr. Ying Wang's group is looking for Ph.D. students in EE, CS, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Software Engineering, and related fields starting in the Fall of 2023 or Spring of 2024 at the Stevens Institute of Technology.
The research areas include but are not limited to:
Cybersecurity in next G communications, Space, Air and Ground Integrated Networks, Software Defined Radio, and Networks,
Formal methods, Machine Learning, applied in 5G and NextG
Interdisciplinary research at various 5G verticals: healthcare, CV2X, and UAV, etc
Cyber-physical systems, IoMT, Wearables, Connected Health
Desirable applicants with a background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Software Engineering, or other related fields are strongly encouraged to apply. A Master's degree in related fields is preferred. Teamwork and hands-on practice are essential as current projects collaborate with other universities, industry partners, and research organizations. Dr. Ying Wang joined the School of Systems and Enterprises (SSE) at Stevens Institute of Technology as an associate professor in the Fall of 2021. Dr. Ying Wang has broad experience in industry and academia and interdisciplinary knowledge in wireless communications, health informatics, software engineering, and data mining.
