Dr. Chaoyue Zhao who will join in Oklahoma State University as an Assistant Professor, is trying to find one or two graduate students who want to obtain their Ph.D. degrees on Industrial Engineering and Management. Dr. Chaoyue Zhao is working on stochastic programming, data-driven stochastic optimization and their applications on power grid security, renewable energy management and big data analysis.
The required qualifications are:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent disciplines.
The preferred qualifications are:
2. Strong mathematical background in mathematical programming, optimization, statistics, probability theories, etc.;
3. Strong programming skills in C/C++, Matlab, Visual Basic, etc.;
4. Strong oral and written communication skills.
